Oh West Oakland. I love living here. But every time i express my absolute revery for this place people freak out and say "Why on earth would you ever want to live in West Oakland? It's so dangerous and hood." And i find it funny that people pass judgment on a place solely on what you've heard from other people or the news? I feel you need to experience it for yourself before you decide.


West Oakland is rich with culture, character, and various forms of art, professional and urban, it's also ripe with victorian houses, art galleries, and outdoor parks.
