Amy Winehouse, 14, September 1983 - 23, July 2011.
This girl right here, had vocals. She could damn sing. Its always the tortured souls that have insurmountable beauty in them, with so much to say, and still so much more to do. It is the misunderstood, and brushed aside humans that are taken for-granted. During the last 4 years of Amy's life no one was focused on her talent. Drugs, Alcohol, and drama were the only things people were talking about in regards to her. Maybe people should have listened more, and not cracked jokes about rehab. That shit does a person in. When you feel or are constantly judged, watched, laughed at, and ignored your confidence and self worth diminishes until you have nothing and are nothing in your own mind. The saddest bit is that everyone has felt this way at least once in their life, and everyone knows how it feels to not be taken seriously. It hurts. So the next time you think of Amy please don't sing rehab and laugh. If any one has ever listened to "Tears Dry On Their own" and related to it like i have then you know what she was all about. She just wanted happiness and it breaks my heart a little that she never got it.
Rest in peace babygirl.

valley of the gods
Valley of the Gods, Utah.
a massive valley of towering red sandstone mesas, pinnacles, and buttes. the thick rolling fog that covers the valley like a never ending sheet. a bit magical.
if the gods chill here, then what goes on in devils canyon?
Devils Canyon, California.
With a crevasse six feet in diameter called the "Steam Pipe," a Dantean inferno from which steam bellowed with a blast that easily surpassed the scream of train whistles. awesome and a bit creepy.
